The Eden Arms West Auckland

I went for a Carvery, my first shocker was when it came to £22 for the 2 of us, I thought with the price being on par with the Toby it must be fantastic, however this was not the case. The pork I got was very dry and tastless, the turnip was mixed into the mushy peas, the cabbage was barely chopped, the turnip was very lumpy when supposed no be mashed and the roast potatoes were so hard you could not cut through them. If you are wanting an expensive Sunday carvery and wanting a good result of food I suggest you go elsewhere.

Delicious food, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent value. I apologize for the photo; I just wanted to dive right in! The lamb was amazing, tender and flavorful, practically falling off the bone! There's a bar area with a pool table and darts for those who enjoy a social setting. Personally, I prefer the more diner-friendly tables, but there is a separate dining room at the back if you're seeking a more intimate experience. The menu offers a great variety, and the staff is very helpful. I highly recommend this place!

Staff were friendly, but the tables that we sat at hadn't been cleaned, the toilets weren't great and we ordered a jacket potato, prawns and salad...which turned out to be jacket potato, not sure if it was prawns, a pot of coleslaw and crisps. I had crispy beef salad with chips..but it was crispy beef in a sauce with chips...it tasted ok, but wasn't what I'd ordered.

We've been visiting this pub for over five years and used to live just around the corner. Now that we reside North of the Border, we don’t come as often as we used to, but we always make it a point to stop by for a Sunday roast whenever we’re in the area. Worst sunday dinner ever.the place is fithy.flies and wasps all over.had 2 in my dinner.they were welcome to it as we left most of it. Showed into so called dining room my wife sat down seat was soaking wet How anyone can think this is acceptable.wont be back thats for sure

Came here for the Sunday carvery. Food was cold, very crowded trying to get the food in a tiny room. Poor lady serving the food was stuck on her own. Not helped by the time of year but there was flies everywhere!! Very unorganised.

This pub is very family-friendly and offers high-quality food. The new Thai menu is fantastic! We always feel welcome when we visit. It's only a few hundred meters from my front door, so I highly recommend it.

Went for Sunday Carvery was lovely to get a excellent portion of lamb made my dinner even more enjoyable Then topped off with FREE apple grumble and custard apple Spot on Reserva una mesa ahora

Carvery was one of the best I tried, excellent value for money and great atmosphere, will definitely return here
