"So interesting! Really beautiful walk from the house via the Chapel. Volunteers greeted us with a big smile, very helpful. It was a rainy day but still great to look at the living museum. Will be amazing when they get the waterwheel up and running again!"

Did not have much time and need to walk the dog so popped over to Cotehele to walk the dog. Walked along the waterfront and took a few photos. Took a few photos and enjoyed myself. There is also a circular walk for the dog. Did not visit the garden or the house, this time, as I had the dog; but have visited them in the past. Plan on visiting them again soon for the holidays. Something to look forward too.

I enjoyed my visit to Cotehele but do feel more could be done with the buildings at this property compared to other national trust sites that I have visited. The staff were knowledgable and the great hall display was interesting. This property specialises in their garden so we will re-visit later in the year as winter is not the best time to view the garden.

beautiful location for a visit, with the flower garland on the display. very competent and friendly guide. the tea room is large and has a good choice of cakes, including gluten-free. dogs are allowed in many of the areas on the property and it is very dog friendly. the walk down to the kai is quite steep, there is a volunteer bus up and down, if necessary.

Lovely National trust house. Large grounds to walk through, although when you walk down, you have to walk back up again. Luckily the tearoom does a reviving cream tea. Also a delicious pasty. There is a mill but they're not milling flour, although there was a great lady baking rock cakes and scones, which were the lightest I've ever tasted. Great day out.
