Two thumbs down for The Edgewater Supper Club this evening. After spending several hundred dollars in fuel for our airplane to fly to the Edgewater for dinner, fully expecting a great experience as we have had in the past, tonight we were greeted with a hostess who seemed to be on some sort of power trip and refused to seat us, despite about 2/3rds of the tables being vacant. She hummed and hawed and made us stand around for 15 minutes, then announced it might be another 10 minutes, maybe longer, she didn't really know. Finally, we had enough, walked out, and the Edgewater lost two good customers and all of the goodwill we have brought them over the years. There are so many great restaurants...
We were extremely disappointed with our visit. I've never encountered a place that lacks handicap accessibility. I had to be lifted in my wheelchair, which was quite challenging. The food was also very overpriced for what you get, and the menu was quite limited. I was eager to order a dish listed on their website, only to find out that it’s no longer available. We all left feeling dissatisfied. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
Perfect supper club dining experience. Quirky and storied 100+ yr old bldg. Friendly owners and staff. 0ur server Martha made us feel welcome and the owner Bill was happy to give us a little history of the supper club. Food exceeded our expectations. Six of us had different entrees and we all raved about them. ?. Can?t wait to go back!
This charming little restaurant by the river has a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the fish, and it was quite tasty. Just a heads up: if you choose a seat by the window, be aware that the porch ceiling is low and slopes toward the water. It's amusing that they serve drinks in glasses with slanted bottoms!

I love this restaurant. Food is very good and the menu is not overwhelming. If you make a reservation, I recommend asking for the section int he area near facing the river. The floor is tilted a little and unique. I really like the slanted beverage glasses that visually even things out. ????
The drinks and service here are outstanding. The food is delightful! However, please note that the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. It has a charming supper club vibe reminiscent of a Women's Institute gathering. The baked potatoes are fantastic, and the fish is excellent as well.
My family and I had such a wonderful time tonight for super! Our waitress, Val was an absolute joy! We had the duck, Walleye, and prime rib! O my heck, Beyond delish! Im not a big fan of duck or prime usually and I LOVED these! We will be back! ????
The 6 of us in our party very much enjoyed our first visit here. Our server, Martha, was awesome. We didn't want for anything. The food was very good, from starters to dessert.

Awesome place. Great bartender, history, atmosphere...fish fry ?. Ordered 4 scallops for an appetizer, charged $36!!! ?
Chase was a great and friendly bartender!! Val was a great waitress!!! Loved the place!!
