The Effra - Reserva de mesa

The Effra Hall is located a short 5-minute walk from Brixton underground station, with off-street parking available from 5:30pm. It is a family-run pub that was not very crowded during my visit, but there were plenty of bar staff on hand. I ordered a bottle of Guinness Foreign Extra and a pint of Red Stripe for £7.80. The seating was not very comfortable and the decor could use some updating. The pub has a diverse crowd and a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The women's restroom was clean and the staff quickly cleared away empty glasses. They host regular events, including football screenings, and also offer a food menu.

If you are looking for an intimate,trendy VERY inexpensive location with some of the BEST LIVE Jazz hangouts this is MOST CERTAINLY the place to visit. My cousin and her Jazz band holds the Sunday Night spot here and its ALWAYS a FULL HOUSE. I'd advise getting there early to grab a seat/table. Some VERY talented guest appearances here, lively venue, with FULL audience participation.

Found this hidden treasure on the back of Effra road. I have just Moved to London recently and was looking for a new local. Absolutely amazing pub, Love the jazz especially the lady on sundays. Bar staff were great and approachable apart from one guy with a ponytail who was really rude and sarcastic. Besides that... everything is perfect. Will return soon.

Great pub with fantastic food, the Caribbean food is highly recommended. Portions are huge so bring an appetite. Was a bit concerned at first as food seems to come out as and when ready meaning food didn't come out together but there was so much we had to share anyway so this didn't prove an issue. You have to lo√e this pub! Not many like it left. It's a local I'll always return to! Perched on a corner with two very different sides. If you like yr sport hang out in the left, Chat on the right or smoke in the small but kinda nice garden out back!

Lovely pears, fantastic service and A class banter. Would return again! Gabrielle is the best bartender that I’ve ever had, his drinks are spicy and pearlishous, would recommend. Xx

I've always been a huge fan of this place, and returned after a couple years away. Love how they balance food, football and live music. To top it all, its a great looking pub.

This English pub in Brixton is a great spot to watch a football game and enjoy a beer. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is traditional. Highly recommended. Reserva una mesa ahora

The atmosphere, people and staff are all great. Great live music 3-4 times a week. Real tapestry of people. Always showing sport. And good food.

This pub is fantastic most days, but if it's crowded and you're not a frequent visitor, expect a long wait to order.
