This was our third visit, the last one having been so amazing that we were eager to return. The service on Feb 15 was outstanding (thanks go to Steven). The table was on the ground floor near the front of the building, so an occasional cold blast made its way to the table as the front door opened, but was not too bad. The soups we ordered for our first course (one french onion, one mushroom) were delicious. The entree my partner selected turned out to be unavailable, so he had to choose something else; he chose seafood risotto, which he said was disappointing. I chose the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly; sauce selection had changed since the previous November, so I opted for a truff...

We are longtime diners at Elkridge Furnace Inn. My husband has always loved it since they often serve non traditional meats on their menu. I enjoy for the most part the food but truly enjoy the historic atmosphere of the restaurant. Last night I had the Cream of Baltimore soup, and have to say, I was not a fan. There were so many flavors in the soup (over complicated in my opinion) that you could barely taste any seafood component. I really enjoyed the entrée of the Bistro Filet it was perfectly prepared and delicious. We introduced the restaurant to another couple, and they really enjoyed our visit and the food. Highly recommend.

We celebrated Valentines Day with a delicious meal in a lovely setting. We opted for the 3-course meal (starter, entree and dessert). Both entrees were quite good. The lamb shank was the clear favorite. The game pate was a bit disappointing. It was very mild and the bread that accompanied the dish was rock hard. Service was friendly and attentive. Eating out on Valentines Day can be problematic, but the Elkridge Furnace Inn did a fantastic job.

We went to celebrate a birthday. Good service and nice atmosphere. Food quality was inconsistent. One on our party ordered two items that were not edible. They had a salad that was so bitter it was spit out. Others tried it at table and found same. It was replaced with a vegetable medley that looked like baby food and tasted like dirt. Oh well. The rest of our party had excellent food. Reserva una mesa ahora

What a gem. We have lived near the Inn for over a year now and we just got around to eating here. What a mistake. A wonderful experience and atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. This will be a place not only we return to, but bring family and friends. This restaurant was fantastic!

Always love the food at Elkridge Furnace Inn! Locally grown and sourced vegetables, delicious, and beautifully presented. Our server even asked, when first introducing himself, if we were celebrating a special occasion. A night at this restaurant is a special occasion.

The Veal chop was amazing, the appetizer was a tart very sweet and savory, we enjoyed both the bread pudding and chocolate cake. The Caterwald wine we found to be surprisingly very delicious.
