Not what it was. The food was OK if extremely samey. There's nothing that shouts out individuality, and you could write the menu before seeing it . The atmosphere is becoming more motorway services than cosy country pub. They have added tables everywhere even cutting into the bar area which always served as a decent bar previously. As a local, its properly disappointing. Service was good although the waiters didn't know the specials and the board was too far away to see. Surely every restaurant starts each shift with a briefing on such things?

Excellent Service, Great Food, Friendly atmosphere, child friendly, very welcoming, and overall A MIND-BLOWING Experience. VIP Giorgio Watson Dietary restrictions: They offer to change parts of the dish. Kid-friendliness: They are very heartwarming to children, they have a lot of child options food wise. The food was decent, but some of the chips were undercooked. The bar staff could improve on pouring a simple glass of Coke. The restaurant may need a larger car park. The price per person is between £20-30. The food received a rating of 4, while the service and atmosphere were rated a 3. Recommended dish: Meat and Potato Pie. Parking can be difficult to find, but there is a free parking lot available.

Our first time dining at the elm at heath. A lovely atmosphere and friendly welcome by all the staff. The carvary was delicious and everything fresh. We particularly liked that we where called up to the carvery, rather than having to queue. We are new to the area and will definitely be calling in again with the family and dog. The food at this restaurant was delicious with generous portions. However, the staff were quite unfriendly. The price per person was between £20-£30. I would rate the food a 4, service a 2, and atmosphere a 4. I recommend trying the Fish 'N' Chips, Spare Ribs, and Roast Beef dishes. There is plenty of parking available and it is free.

Went as part of a large party for Sunday lunch. Service was very good and attentive, atmosphere welcoming, good range of drinks. However it as the food that made the day.
