Wow! This is the place to be on a Sunday night. Live music, some of the best jazz I've heard (we came here to see Don Byron). Acoustics are great, you get a good mix everywhere in the house, although it's too loud for conversation (more of a concert vibe than background dining music), which is great, because the music is where it's at. We visited a weekday evening in the summer just to check it out. We were so surprised at how large the space was, and how you could walk the grounds in the back with a drink in hand and explore the different floors. Beautiful space, kind of surreal. We were not expecting a show as it was very tame and there were just about 10 people around, yet there were a few performers who seemed to be regulars and really enjoyed just playing together. Very nice old school hippie vibe. Something about it reminds me of the old Max’s Kansas City in Manhattan from the 1970s, even though they are completely different. The small waterfall outside is relaxing to sit next to. They draw good local as well as national acts. Relaxed atmosphere. Food is decent (but not if you are watching your arteries, , good mixed drinks at the bar.
This review is from before the Covid pandemic. The food was quite disappointing. I would recommend going for the drinks and entertainment instead. The service was very good, and the ambiance is alright. Overall, focus on the drinks and entertainment. The appetizers were either overcooked or lacking in flavor. I hope you find this helpful!

A wonderful venue. All donations at the door go directly to musicians! Great acoustics. Great stage and audience space. Also support of visual artists. This place has a wonderful ambience, the food is good as are the drinks. What’s not to love?
Love this place. Local live venue for music and food and beers. Take your time there. It fills up quick and everyone orders at the same time so be a little patient. Beautiful atmosphere and amazing sound . Great food. And great bartenders
Great music venue with decent pub type food. Came with locals for a jazz jam session. Musicians are paid from the tips you designate in your food bill. You can also tip the musicians through the tip box.
Great entertainment. Limited menu, but tasty. Good service and interesting tasty alcohol beverages.
