I used to go to this place when it used to be Mama Maria. They had great prawn pasta. I went back today and it has changed hands. I ordered prawn pasta it cost What came out was an overcooked pasta with tomato...based sauce and sad little frozen prawns in it. Total rip off! My friend ordered a chicken schnitzel with vegetables. She had to pay additional for that instead of salad and additional for mushroom sauce. Hers came out with salad anyway and they had to organise a refund. We are definitely not going back there!

The Bistro has recently opened replacing the previous restaurant (which was great). I had Nachos at and ranked as the worst Nachos I have ever had. They were meant to be beef, but that was hard to find amongst all the beans. The mince...meat was still in chunks and having been microwaved was still cold in the middle. My husband had the “homemade” rissoles that were very bland. Made with sausage meat with no additions. Not the same value as the previous operator. Overpriced for a local suburban pub.

Atmosphere? What atmosphere is that the same as children commandeering the pool tables ,Parents totally oblivious to their offspring being a pain ,Bogans screaming at tv’s rubbish food (pricey), flat beer can’t complain if so you are a whinger Dark and dismal decor ,jumping castle...on a Sunday give me a break! drunken parents. smokers ignoring no smoking signs staff not enforcing afore-mentioned ignorant smokers.

Really go to McDonald's instead. You'll get better food for less. My Son's pizza was not even as good as you'd find in a supermarket freezer. My stew had almost all potato, on top of a side of mash. There where maybe two or three...tiny cubes of lamb.
