I would like to leave a review for this restaurant as I was really impressed with the food I was given and also the friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. The food was freshly cooked and nicely presented and I would definitely return if I am ever in the area. Feta cheese was smooth you could of spreader it on your bread and the calamari was golden with fresh cooked batter. The lamb we had was also beautifully cooked and tasty. Wine was good too. The waitress was delightful, but that was the only positive aspect of our experience at Efes. My wife ordered a standard breakfast without mushrooms, while I ordered a mushroom omelette. Her meal arrived with overcooked toast, a low-quality sausage, and greasy fried bread. My omelette arrived a few minutes later and was dry and flavorless. The tea we ordered was decent. The total bill came to £12, but there was no discount for the missing mushrooms. Considering the other options in the area, the food was subpar and we will not be returning.
Having decided to stop and have a drink we spotted Efes with a nice seating area outside. We went inside and ordered drinks and a cake for my husband, looks very clean and bright inside with plenty of space in between the tables. We decided to sit outside as it was a warm day. The waitress soon came out with our order and she was very pleasant. Hubby enjoyed his chocolate fudge cake with cream also it was a good cup of tea. We would like to go back sometime soon and choose something off the menu, definitely worth a visit.
We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening as we couldn't decide where to eat. Though the place was empty, we still chose to dine here. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. We ordered the sharing mixed grill for two and were impressed by the amazing food. The lamb and chicken were served on a bed of couscous alongside a large bowl of salad. We had no complaints at all and will definitely be returning to eat here again.

I have been several times in the evening, we went out for lunch and tried the cafe menu, two fish and chips, salad, peas, chips and fish. One Turkish (slightly spicy and yummy) sausage cheese panini with side salad, drinks, coffee and dessert was around £12 per head. Great quality of food, but busier than evening time so service was a little slower. Portions are generous, quality food quickly served
The restaurant hosted my 60th birthday party for 40 guests. Staff were amazing and really looked after us. We had the meze starter and mixed meat platter followed by amazing home made pistachio Baclava which was all very good. If you’re looking for a local restaurant with good food and service I highly recommend this place.
I went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The baklava was to die for, so delicious. I will definitely be going back again.
Called in for breakfast with my wife whilst waiting for a train after visiting family the food was good and plentiful the service excellent and the price very competitive

Called in for breakfast after an early morning appointment. Well worth coming great food even better prices. Friendly staff and clean, bright surroundings
Food was lovely, service was slow. The mixed grill was very over priced at £16.95 for what was on the plate.
