I had some trouble finding The Feed Store on my GPS—Google Maps kept directing me to nearby animal feed stores instead! Thankfully, I had a general idea of the location. The Feed Store is a charming little restaurant with a limited menu and specific hours, closed between 10 and 11 a.m. We ordered the shrimp and grits, which were incredibly flavorful. We also shared the grilled chicken strips; they were decent, but the sides really stood out. Another awesome experience! First I was greeted with Natalie who was very nice and shared the popular items in very good detail. She provided her recommendations but also allowed me to review the menu for any particular likings. Natalie’s attention to detail and compasión really made me want to try the special of the day, the Chicken Fried chicken. It was amazing and probably the best chicken friend steak I had living in TX for for over 10 years. If I am working around the area again I look forward to return. Natalie is a true ambassador for the restaurant!
The first thing I loved about this place is Mawmaw she is the heart of this place and makes my heart happy. Second the food. Absolutely delicious. It taste like a truly home cooked meal. This is my new favorite place to eat!!! The staff is so nice. I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Then came back for breakfast. I will be back!!!
We have been eating here since it opened and I haven’t gotten one thing I didn’t like. I’ve brought out of town clients for lunch and friends from out of town and they always love the food. Breakfast casserole is awesome, chicken and waffles is amazing and the gumbo is the best in the area.

It was my first time there, and I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was so delicious, my 2 year old wanted a second helping of the green beans!!! Definitely going back!!
Food was good but encountered another billing issue. Menu says $4 for double burger but I was charged $11 like I ordered two separate burgers. Maybe it's a local thing to charge out-of-towners more.
Such a wonderful neighborhood This place has amazing breakfast and offer plate lunches as well. I've personally tried the breakfast bowl and the Cajun omelet.
My burger was very good, My husband's chicken sandwich was tough. The portions were very sizeable.
