Had to flag down a member of staff to wipe our table down there were a dozen or so tables free, but every single one had dirty plates and glasses on. It was during lunch so I understand they’re busy, but the staff seemed to be chatting amongst themselves rather than working. Basically rolled their eyes at us when we asked them to wipe our table. Curb the attitude, please. Ordered lunch via the app. Manager in a shirt came over and dumped our drinks on the table. And by dumped, I mean the Pepsi splashed all over our table and up my sleeve. Accidents happen, but he just turned heel and left. Not even an “oops, let me get you a paper towel for that”. Luckily one of us had a packet of tissues in...
Worst ever!!!!! I had the breakfast and a refill cappuccino....start with the breakfast fairly priced £7 big breakfast i think it was..so the waiting time was fairly good but the food arrived and the beans were frozen the bacon was stringy fat..i asked the waitress to warm the beans up kindly she took the plate and the beans came back colder honestly i will be avoiding the breakfast....had the mixed grill before lovely with a drink £11 avoid brekkie though if you want quality plus one of the coffee machines were down so i was constantly queing behind dorris and hazel trying to get my refills haha not a great experience...on a plus the bar staff and waitress were lovely
I often take the train to meet an old school friend for lunch and a couple of beers at The Felix Holt. He lives in Newcastle under Lyme and I live in MK, so Nuneaton is a convenient meeting point for us. The restaurant always takes good care of us, and it's great to have a variety of beers to choose from, although they do tend to focus on strong ales. Despite this, we always manage to find a table, especially when we arrive just after 11. We've never had a bad meal there yet. While the restaurant is mostly frequented by a certain type of clientele, they have never caused us any issues and are actually quite friendly when we interact with them.

It’s OK because it’s a Spoons so it’s going to be good value. We called in in the morning for a quick cup of tea. We struggled to get a seat. The tables and chairs were wooden and set out in a matrix so it looked more like a cafe. Although it was very early, most people had alcoholic drinks. Slow to clear and clean takes. Warm and cheap.
We decided to have a drink at this restaurant after visiting Toppers chip shop. They had a great selection of drinks at affordable prices. The menu also looked appealing, but we had already eaten before arriving.
Only giving three stars as Faye the bartender would NOT spit on me! I am shocked and appalled at this service as I even offered to pay, I will still come back and ask again
Visited a few time after Xmas for the first time for ages. Very busy very short staffed. Food was brilliant every time Service was quick even with reduced staff.

I stopped by for 2 glasses of wine. When they were served in dirty glasses, I requested clean ones. I was informed that all the glasses are the same.
Easy afternoon while away the time and put the world to rights-busy,but not too busy to enjoy a drink.
