The Filling Station

Unfortunately, our usually great experience at this restaurant was ruined today by a technical issue with their IT system. Despite the money being taken and a confirmation email received, our online order was not recorded. Upon arrival, we were met with a lot of confusion and it took three staff members to figure out the situation. By the time they realized they could still cook our order, it was too late for our hungry work crew. Furthermore, they need to improve their queuing system as they are still using a makeshift table at the front door for service. This resulted in long queues, confusion, and frustrated customers waiting in the cold weather.

Staff polite. Ordered breakfast rolls .sat in my car as at moment cover rules not allowed in premises..(weather terrible)waited waited.waited .went and enquired about my order waiting on egg being cooked well bring it out to you .They did. took order home. Surprises .bacon 2 slices very salty .sliced sausage the same salty haggis egg roll you can see what we think of that .we added sauce . Will I be going back NO. Service good food nothing special in my own home I would have cooked an other egg .as we eat with our eyes it was not appetizing.we bought there toffee apple scone hopefully that will be tasty

I ordered a baked potato with cheese and beans and I asked for a small amount of cheese as I am aware they do go over the top with cheese! It unfortunately came packed with so much cheese It was spilling over the box, the cheese had ice crystals on top and the beans were so pale and I believe they have perhaps moved onto a cheaper tasteless version of Heinz. I also ordered a aero cake and a caramel shortcake and again they were so hard you could bash someone over the head with the cake and it would be sore, I am wondering if the cakes are not fresh As this has happened a few times now.

While on a coastal drive in search of a hearty and healthy food option, we stumbled upon The Filling Station by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their fresh ingredients and the variety of choices on offer. The food was made to order and served with excellent service, complete with a bag and utensils. We enjoyed two hearty soups and a generous baguette for just £11.90, making it a superb value meal. Popped in for lunch as my husband had previously been and recommended it. Firstly the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They recommended chicken mystique in the ladt baked potato which was really tasty. My huxbands cheese and tomstoe toastie was devine. Both had sslad with them which we enjoyed.. The portions were very generous and average price so well worth a visit.

We visited for lunch as a couple. Service was great. Arek was very friendly and very attentive, however food was not great. No flavour to fajita calzone and chips very overcooked. My partners’ calzone was meat feast however and he enjoyed it. Would not return again, unfortunately

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed the delicious food. The chicken dish, in particular, is amazing and the baguettes are generously filled. I left feeling satisfied and not hungry at all. The staff is also very friendly.

Been here a few times. I called my order in this time which was perfect. My breakfast roll was perfectly cooked with a freshly ground cup of coffee. Amazing prices too and staff so friendly and helpful. Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff here are always friendly! Hard working and pleasant. A pleasure to be served by any one in here. Food quality is above and beyond, cannot fault them.

They cater so well for kinda of events, with flavour, style and good value for money. Never been disappointed by portion size either.
