Been several times and usually a great meal. Last night was a bit car crash as they were massively understaffed. Dishes arrived late or out of order and three of us had well done steaks when we asked for medium rare. One guy basically covering the whole floor who did a brilliant job but can’t be expected to perform miracles Will go back as I know it’s normally not like this but they need to avoid this happening again.
Restaurant didn't have our booking. We were invited to have some drinks in the bar whilst we waited for them to sort out a table for us. They took our drinks order and then after waiting 20 minutes the drinks never arrived and we were told they did not have any tables available other than stools next to the main entrance and open kitchen which would have been fine to have drinks at but not suitable for a meal.
Lovely venue for a lunchtime get together with friends. Great service with very friendly and helpful staff. It 's a vibrant restaurant so quite noisy, but still easy enough to chat. Food came quickly and was well presented. Saturday lunchtime bottomless brunch is a great idea if you have all afternoon to enjoy the prosecco and champagne cocktails. Prices are reasonable too good value for money.
I cannot give this place a lower score. Booked, only to be told when we arrived that they ‘didn’t have enough portions’ for us, much less seat us. Extremely poor, poor handling of the situation and zero offer of anything to offset our group’s inconvenience. I would never recommend. I have been here several times and the service food are hit or miss. Most recently we watched a World Cup on a Sunday and it was a good time; a bit nicer than your usual match venue. On sunny days, they open the large windows in the bar and bring the great weather inside. Gluten free bread is now available (I’d been previously servers were not helpful at with my gluten allergy)
Initially a bit noisy because of a hen party. Staff were very friendly. My older friends found the food a little modern but you managed to convert them by the time we got to desserts! Amazing setting in a fire station.
During race week in Cheltenham its always difficult to find a restaurant that can maintain high levels of service and food, the Fire Station did both easily a great venue, well worth a visit.
Good British food in a comfortable but noisy setting. Just okay on the service, but clearly working on it! They just opened so I give them extra credit for trying hard to make us happy! Reserva una mesa ahora
Great food and service very noisy but we where given a great table in the alcove upstairs for 4 which was perfect and a lot quieter
