I had to take off one star as soon as we walked in the door since we were immediately exiled into the pub because we had 3 small children. The other star was because of the slow service and somewhat forgetful. If this review was solely on food, I would give this chef and kitchen staff 5 stars. The food was fantastic! I never would have thought I would eat camel, but it was great! My wife's chicken Florentine was also very good. I would definitely recommend the food but if you have kids skip unless you want to be put in the rejected customer room.
Went here on a Monday during our annual visit to Door County. We were wanting to try some new restaurants. This one was highly rated so we gave it a try. Nice atmosphere and great waitstaff. Was not impressed with the food. We all went for comfort food. My friends rated the chicken pot pie and the shrimp and grits as just ok. I've had jambalaya at several restaurants around the U.S. and would rate this one fairly low.
We were seated in the pub which was fine. The service was great. I had the calamari that was decent but not the best. I did have a great peal and eat shrimp dish that we very flavorful. I also had the fried cheesecake which was amazing!! My husband had their burger which he thought was blah with little flavor. The old fashioned was good but I had better the day before. It was s decent meal.
Hands down some of the very best food we have ever had. It’s like comfort food taken to a level of perfection. The Shrimp and grits, chicken Florentine, and the featured prime rib po’ boy was to die for! Service was incredible as well! We most definitely will be back I don’t care how far of a drive it is! The food and hospitality is worth it!

Had dinner at the bar. Despite it being busy, bar staff was very attentive and friendly. Had the camel tenderloin with chimichurri sauce. Delicious! Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.
I loved my Chicken Feta Florentine and my husband liked his Jumbalya but found it too spicy. The flourless chocolate cake was good but we were surprised it was served cold. Service was great!
Amazing food and great service. Highly recommend this place. I got the shrimp and grits and was not disappointed at all. If you are in town this is a must stop at place.
Fireside is a lovely restaurant that never disappoints. We had jambalaya and squash stuffed ravioli. Both were delicious and very filling. Great service and ambiance.

Amazing service and meal! Well crafted menu with great drinks! Vegetarian and vegan options are great as well!
