We have been frequenting this restaurant for over 30 years, ever since they opened 31 years ago. Despite having a closer chip shop, we choose to come here consistently. The chips are consistently excellent, and although I do not personally eat buttered fish, my friends and family always rave about how delicious it is. I personally enjoy the well-cooked chicken with its lovely flavor. I definitely recommend this place if you live nearby.

Several times I've come all the way down here to get chips but they've been closed even when Google says they're open. It's literally the only chippy in the area now too. According to their opening times, I got here over half an hour before they're supposed to close. No way to run a business. Otherwise you get moody sods like me leaving bad reviews.

My absolute favourite of all fish and chip shops! I had fish and chips last night from here and I just had to write a review on them. Such delicious, white fish that is cooked to perfection in a scrumptious, crispy batter. My mouth is watering thinking about it! Thank you for always exceeding my expectations. I frequently visit this fish shop with my family. My daughter especially enjoys their fish. I usually order the large haddock and chips, which is so generous in size that it easily feeds our entire family of three.

I cannot find any faults with the Fish and Chip shop. The fish is always delicious and fresh, cooked perfectly. The chips are lovely as well. I am thrilled to see it open again after its closure due to COVID.

I visited this shop on the 1st of September for rock and chips, the fish didn’t look to good and after 4 hours I was violently sick. I’ve reported the issue to the food standards agency.....avoid!!
