The Fisherman's Inn

During my holiday in late July 2021, my father and I took a walk to the Roman fortification and then continued on to the waterfront ranch. We decided to stop at Fisherman's for a drink, despite hearing it was a bit pricey. The restaurant has three outdoor seating areas: one with benches for smoking, one with a beautiful glass shielded surface for non-smokers, and another covered area with glass plates for smokers. All three areas have views of the river and landscape, located next to each other. Fisherman's also offers free WiFi with the password displayed on a board. Lovely. Views of the river Waveney and beyond were great whilst enjoying a sandwich/drink. Excellent menu choice at very reasonable prices. Staff friendly and welcoming. Get there early to secure a table right next to river although there is plenty of outdoor seating in the garden . Well worth a visit.

Large seating area outside we sat inside with our dog as it was breezy. Haven't seen chicken on the bone chips for a while. Nice big portion frendly service with music on screen (80s) took me back in time.

Well what can one say about this pub,, excellent, we had lunch and drinks, nothing wsd too much trouble, made to feel very welcome, lunch itself was on the large side. But very enjoyable.

easy to see why this beautiful pub is so busy and a waiting time is taking place. only to be expected as an Easter weekend. shall in any case return when next here
