The Fisherman's Wife

Very attentive service on arrival and taking our order. Must add nice clean loos. Food and drinks arrived within a few minutes. We had haddock, chips and mushy peas. Perhaps personal preference but, though the chips were cooked, they could have been a bit browner, perhaps a second session in the fryer. Also the peas could have been warmer. Apart from that very tasty. On a summer's day the view from the table would be magnificent however, it being winter and the spray driving in with the howling gale, not today. Excellent food and kind personnel. The crab and prawn cocktail and the mussels where just great and fresh. I went in the evening but I m guessing the location is also very nice. Will definitely come back to find out !

Really enjoyed our visit here! Loved the muscles! Partner had crab. Tasty food, well presented and lovely views! Would say the alcohol is a little too pricey personally, but food was delicious!

Best and most delicious fish n chips in Yorkshire. Perfectly cooked almost melting. Great atmosphere, staff, food and price.
