Mini fish and chips, chips cooked to perfection and a nice crispy battered fish. Mixed kebab Naan, both chicken and donna meat full of flavour and warm, salad fresh and cut nicely, naan nice and soft. Jacket potato, cheese and beans, hot and moreish. Pie and chips, pie cooked well hot inside with a nice pastry. Pineapple fritter/ battered pineapple this is the best thing invented, it’s like a pineapple doughnut. Yummy! Pizza, cheese and tomato nice and soft base and very cheesy. Battered sausage, chips and curry sauce, just the right amount of crispy batter, decent sized sausage and nice consistency of curry sauce. A few months ago, we visited Fishnet and were very disappointed with the quality of the food. However, we decided to give it another try recently to see if things had improved. Unfortunately, the pastry on the pie was extremely hard and cold. The chips were also lukewarm, greasy, and had been reheated at 7pm, so we had to throw away our food. It's a shame because this chippy used to be a great takeaway spot. We're not sure if they're cutting corners to save money, but we won't be returning as we couldn't eat the food. This place has potential, but they need to raise their food standards to attract and keep customers coming back!
How quickly has this chippy gone down in quality. We've always liked the food from here but on our last collection we did say it wasn't as good as usual but maybe they were having an off day. Just collected an order and it was dreadful. The food was barely warm, the fish was small (despite ordering a large) grey and very dry. The chips were really dry and hard and much smaller portion than medium used to be. The pie my wife had was actually cold. Awful, we won't be going back anymore.
Started this review while waiting in the queue. Just waiting and waiting. The service is shocking. Really can’t believe how bad it is. Lost interest in the food by the time I got served. The food was poor greasy and overcooked. This used to be a nice chippy. Even the building now looks scruffy and unkempt. Never again.

I’m not going to waste too much time on this review as we thought we would try this place once again hoping it would get better. Nope. Awful. Place looks scruffy. Food poor. No more reviews on this gaff as definitely won’t be going be going back until new ownership.
Fantastic chippy with plenty of great gluten free options fish chips, sausage, halloumi bites, onion rings plus amazing service from Parol, who brought out our order to us with a separate bag for the gluten free order. Defo order from here again
Chips was the best i have ever tasted also chicken tikka kebab was another level! Don’t listen to any bad reviews go try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed! All the fish is crispy and cooked to order always fresh and delicious !
Used to be a great takeaway but now terrible. I ordered today and the chips have come shriveled up and stone cold. Called the restaurant to tell them and all they could say is okay. Would not recommend!

Sad to say this place has gone really down hill and in fairness I have to update my earlier 5* review. It used to be my favourite takeaway but I’m afraid I won’t be using them again. What a shame!
