The Five Dime Diner

I've visited this restaurant twice with some of my children, and I must say, the pancakes and banana bread are fantastic! My 8-year-old absolutely adored the milkshake, while my 1-year-old enjoyed the smoothies and pancakes. I appreciate that the smoothies come with a toddler-proof lid. The service has been wonderful and efficient both times we've been there. The food is reasonably priced and served in generous portions. A nice bonus is that they have high chairs available!

Really awesome spot! My father and I had two different Egg bennies and what usually makes or breaks it is the hollandaise but I was happily impressed with it. The vibe in there is friendly and the style of the place is unreal. 70/80s themed booths, chairs, and decor. Throws you back in time to reminisce. Nothing bad to say about this spot! Recommend!

Really charming little place we tried on a whim en route to the ferry. Busy Sunday afternoon but staff still gave us solid friendly service. Food not cheap, but very tasty. Positive atmosphere too—gender-neutral washrooms and indications they take measures to minimize waste.

Stopped into the Five and Dime over the weekend and was not disappointed. The wait time to get in was a bit long but not an issue at all. Our waitress and the staff were great and very friendly and the Betty White eggs Benny was amazing. Thank you forthe good experience! Reserva una mesa ahora

Fantastic diner like you imagine it. Went for the pulled-pork burrito with onion rings to the side which was hiding the spot. We were with a group of 9 and the service was excellent, friendly and quick. Definitely recommend.

Hands down the best diner in between Swartz Bay and Victoria area. The food is on point. Everything tastes fresh and well seasoned. Good coffee and other service is just nice, attentive and helpful. My favorite diner so far.

I was visiting Sidney and happened on this place. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great. Good price, quality and portion. Also, I love the theme of a classic diner. Can't wait to come back.
