The Forum Restaurant

I have to say when my husband first pulled into the parking lot at the Forum Restaurant on Hwy. 35/115, I was thinking this might be a mistake. It used to be Horne's Restaurant a long time ago and was a popular place to drop in for a meal on a drive to Peterborough for my husband's family back in the 60's. According to his memory, the place is much the same as back then. It's an old fashioned dining establishment with a bar and a separate room to play pool. The décor is still much as it might have been back then too.There were a number of older couples there enjoying a late Saturday lunch and it appeared they were mostly regulars.
