We went to the Four Seasons Tea Room for a Thursday lunch. I called a few days before and left a voicemail to make a reservation; they returned my call the night before to confirm. It was not busy at all when we arrived and we were seated immediately. We chose to sit outside in the garden, it had such a cute vibe. We got the Afternoon Tea package which was $28 per person. I came here with my daughters for Mother’s Day and our reservation was for 11:00 AM when they opened. We were seated promptly with our menus however we never received any attention from our server until 25 minutes later after I got up and asked for service. We didn’t have just one server which was unusual. The servers just go around asking if you need anything instead of assigning one server per room/tables which is why ones table may get overlooked. It’s clean and nicely decorated but very over priced in my opinion. I won’t be coming back for an overpriced mediocre bunch and tea. Brought our kids to try something new and then did a stroll around downtown Sierra Madre. The tea room is cozy, and is much larger inside than what appears from the outside. We sat inside, but will do outside next time. The tea selection was good, and they did a refill on all three pots. I'm not sure how they decided how many pots/varieties to give us.. we had 4 orders (our kids split one) that included salad, scones, 20 sandwiches, desserts (bite sized cheesecake, lemon bar, butter cookies). Everything complimented the tea. More food than we can finish (almost like a lunch) and the total was $144 w tip. Not something you would do every week but would definitely be back.
Overall it was lovely. Friendly staff, cute settings. But I can 't give it 5 stars because there were just a lot of arbitrary rules. You don 't go to afternoon tea because you 're hungry, you go for the experience. So it really breaks the experience when you hear we can 't give you this tea in that kind of cup or we can give you two teas but not if one of them is this tea and this tea is per person but this one the whole table has to order, and we can 't give you a pitcher of that Even the staff (who were very nice) got confused and no two of them seemed to know all of the rules or follow the same rules. This is the cutest place! The menu is a bit confusing at first, but we enjoyed the entire experience! The four of us got the sandwiches with the salad included. The salad was delicious, and while we were expecting a small bowl of it we got a nice sized plate! The sandwiches, although they took a little while to get to us, were delicious and arranged so gorgeously! There were so many unique tea options and all the plates and teapots were so pretty and unique. Our server Kate was so friendly and made the whole experience just that much better. We had an amazing time here and would highly recommend to others!
My mom was thrilled to come for tea with the family and it was everything she could ever have wanted on her visit to LA! The tea was steeped perfectly and every flavor we tried was loved more. The red pepper tea sandwich and house made biscuits with berries and cream were a popular favorite and we left stuffed and relaxed on a soothing tea high. The man running the house -Ivan- obviously loved his job and was so attentive and accommodating to us when we found ourselves on a tight schedule. This place was a delight :
Initially I was turned away s I was wearing shorts and they have a no short policy which is perfectly understandable. The sweet treats and tea were delicious but it’s the atmosphere that really impressed, understated comfort and style with an international clientele. Definitely worth a visit if your in Doha.
From the moment you walk in and hear the charmingly creaky wooden floor you are pampered with a traditional English tea. It's just a lot of fun to spend a couple hours and pretend you're across the pond!

First tea time experience and I must say they helped me learn a lot and it was fun and delicious!
