I have never visited a bar like this. I ordered 3 drinks for me and my friends. I offered to pay cash in the first instance, after I was asked if I would like to start a tab. I wanted to settle in the first instance. The bartender Steven said I’ll take the card, to which I obliged. I handed over the card, as we are visiting from Europe our cards don’t allow authorisation without a pin. Steven advised the card didn’t authorize, and do I have one without a pin. I said no, I’m European, I will happily pay cash. He took the card again and put in the card number and CVC code. It accepted, I signed the receipt, without a tip. We had an extremely upsetting experience. After serving us a round, the bartender said they were closing and we couldn 't order anymore drinks. Then 3 more people walked in and he started pouring them beers.Naturally we asked, wait, you are still serving? Bartender: For them, yes, but not for you.
Met my friends here for HH and had a few Friends come meet. We had a great time the food was good the atmosphere was good but our server was awesome! Rebecca was kind was fast and made our experience so great. I hope to see Rebecca next time I dine at this fine establishment!
I recently visited this fantastic neighborhood bar with a friend on a cloudy day, and it really lifted my spirits. The drinks were top-notch, and Rebecca's friendly service and warm smile were unforgettable. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you!

Cool dive bar with a good bit of regulars. Wasn’t very lively on a Sunday but it allowed for everyone to talk to everyone. We didn’t get food but the drinks were pretty strong. The bartenders were friendly and attentive.
Rebecca was an excellent server and provided us with exceptional service. I highly recommend her. I am looking forward to returning to this restaurant soon!
This is the most cozy bar I have discovered in the DC area. It could use more furry decorations. I would give it 5 stars otherwise.
Simon is the best bartender a person could ask for. He’s like a friend who always knows what you want.
