This is a proper country pub at the heart of the village community with loads of activities. Sometimes pubs like this can feel awkward when you walk into them and arent a regular but not here. The staff were incredibly friendly, down to earth and chatty. ADVICE take cash as they didnt accept cards when we went there isnt a cashpoint in the village either, oh we city folk have been too spoilt with our convenient lifestyles! A fabulous array of real ales on tap, food which was perfectly ok, nothing special but certainly enjoyable. Brilliant tunes on the jukebox oh and they welcome dogs too. Perfectly acceptable!!

A lovely, warm, friendly local pub. The pub has a great selection of local beers I managed to try a few and all good! One thing I really like about the pub is all the pictures and things on the walls a complete range of all sorts of different things! As Natalie W has mentioned, its got an excellent juke box like an old school type juke box. Also had Sunday lunch here a lovely roast beef lunch with all the trimmings potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire Puddings (many! . And a massive jug of gravy. Tasted yummy. It also had a decent size car park behind the pub.

The local Witton feast ale here was excellent quality, a nettley, floral summer session ale. Wine selection was both great value (like all drinks here in fact) and highly drinkable, both red and white. There was also an excellent juke box selection (i.e. classic rock), ample seating and interesting decor with a wide variety of pictures all around the three rooms of this lovely family pub. The Sunday lunch is highly recommended, the roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, roast beef and gravy were all outstanding, the food equivalent of Led Zeppelin.

A beautiful pub nestled on the very pretty Church St. awesome food and a big range of craft beers! Really friendly staff and a lovely beer garden with an outside tiki bar!
