Poor choice of starter. I had 3 small chicken wings and given a knife and fork to eat them. They were previously cooked and reheated. Main course I choose steak and it was just ok. Steak was not rested after cooking and when served my plate was swimming in blood. Chips were cold and there was no grilled tomato although it said it was included. Mushroom sauce which I paid extra for was very salty and didn’t really taste of anything. We ordered a side dish of onion rings and these were fantastic. Sticky toffee pudding was a microwave brought in pud and was served with icecream. Very expensive £100) for two. Staff were friendly and pleasant but sadly we would not return.
Sadly I really wanted to enjoy this pub but it fell short.... we came for dinner as it was a pub that popped up on Google as dog friendly and as we were visiting, took the chance. Bar staff were very friendly, and the decor is hip/cool, beer garden right on the river. So if it was just a drink, we probably would have enjoyed it more. But the food was a real letdown. Mistyped menu to start, which should have given me a red flag from the start, but I wanted to give them a chance. If they get the food right this place could be a gem. Maybe just stick to pizzas or burgers get them spot on and it would work rather them a mix of everything that's sub par.
Outrageous that they have a ukps parking system in place, really shameful. Came for one drink and didn’t put my registration in. I spoke to Stephany (assuming that’s the manager) and she said to email the frog with the notice and she will sort it out. Has not even opened my email let alone replied. Disgusting from the frog. I live locally and have previously enjoyed my time there. Never again. Supporting shameful money grabbing crooks in ukps, a scorn on what would be a nice pub. As for Stephany, I employ you to learn how to use a computer.
OK, if you're a local resident. Pub is full of the younger generation, and it's very loud and difficult to hold a conversation. There are lots of drunk people walking around. It's not a place to meet and have a quiet catch-up with friends or family. I've been coming for years on and off, but after my visit this Friday, I have no desire to return again. If you're looking for a civilised drink in a nice pub with good food and drinks, try the Broom Tavern. Atmosphere: 1

Popped in for a late lunch and a beer after completing a 5 mile walk from Bidford along the river to Cleeve Prior, via Marlcliff. Drinks were sound and the fish and chips were gorgeous!! Service with a smile from everyone. Just needs a lick of paint in places, and the toilets sorting out. Still, excellent staff and fab food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Pop in on Saturday for a cheeky pint wasnt great atmosphere. Staff got confused on 5 dinks was ok service nothing special food looked lovely didn't eat tho Price per person: £20–30 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
Reall6 nice portions and quality a lit pricey by stillgood for the treat for my daughters pre wedding dinner really enjoyed the decor too brilliant on photos

Nice atmosphere of a traditional pub. Great location by the river too.
