it seems a nice place and would seem that it is mainly designed for eating on the left side with a small dark bar to the right. we went for a drink, and a beer plus a koks came to £7.90 which I thought expensive, and there was only my missus and I in there. it looks a bit tired with red curtains that cover the windows and place away from the rail. the shrubs grow over the windows, so they could do with a cut, and a lighter color scheme would make a big difference. if I had a critique, it is that the herrentoilette is pretty dirty and it absolutely stinks there in the stalute urine. the many bleach blocks in the fall and the plug-in air refresher are not really sorting out the problem, and I...
Saturday night at the funky bear Mere Green was a pleasant surprise for we two pensioners. Archie our waiter looked after us very well and attended our every need. The menu is limited which is not a bad thing. Started with buffalo wings and mushrooms on toast then sirloin and fillet steaks. All cooked as we required but portions are quite small. Modern dance music made it feel clubby and cool. There are a lot of young servers who seemed to be in training. A bit expensive in my view.
sat today for lunch and absolutely loved. the decor is wonderful. bears are my favorite to see that the bear decoration was fabulous. very clean and tidy. the guy who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming, made me feel right now and regularly checked for us. eating was really nice with a good choice on the menu and was served quite fast. we will definitely come back.
the personal was welcoming. very busy Friday night. I think if the bookings were a little better, it would help the employees if they were snooping around and it seemed as if the people had waited for one. I'd go back. Scotch egg was fab, but probably not the steakburger again. I was wondering about raw, but that was a little chewing in the middle. had a good night.

Nice place to go for dinner with your family or as a couple.nice and spacious in there. Food was very tasty and nice big portions. The children's menu was good and also good sized meals! Would visit again...only thing that I would probably pick at that I don't like,was the price of the drinks.way to expensive! Other than that,was a nice experience
eating is fantastic, but as others have said that the service is somewhat slow. we were there 17/06/18, who was vatertag so that some leeway can be given for the service. the personal was attentive and made sure that we had enough drinks, as well as small changes that we like to have with our meals.
I would like to thank angie for all her help tonight with our reservation that we have booked the wrong restaurant that she helped us, and we had a great meal for our 5 years jubilee together and felt welcome and there was a great atmosphere that we will be back
