A rare North Shore gem combining outstanding cuisine with art from local artists. As it 's name implies, the Gallery is an art gallery, but with a kitchen and an extremely talented chef. The menu and art are both updated every 3 months. We have been to the Gallery for the past 5 menus and every visit has been excellent. The menu is very limited but offers enough options for most people (so far, there has always been a salmon, another seafood entree, a beef entree, and a poultry entree). Inconsistencies in the making of the limited cocktails on the menu. No bar. Walls festooned with art for sale. Somewhat like dining in an art gallery. If the art is to your liking, that's good. Otherwise, meh.Wait staff is excellent. The vegetarian dish (there's only been one on the when we've gone) are uninspired and by and large absent of vegetables. The regular menu items on the other hand are very good.We'll go back, but the Gallery is not in our top 5 choices for dining I'm Lake Forest.
Wow! I had no idea such amazing food was just around the corner. As a true food enthusiast who has dined at numerous Michelin Star restaurants, I can honestly say that my meal at The Gallery was on par with the best. It was simply superb! I adored the tranquil atmosphere, which felt like a hidden gem. The service was outstanding, and the meal was absolutely fabulous! Hats off to the chef. I will definitely be returning!
This restaurant is an excellent choice for hosting a private event. I held a baby shower here, and everything was outstanding. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. A special thank you to the staff for their attentive care of all the guests.
