The Gallery At Stanton Manor

I had a very unusual dining experience during the pandemic at this restaurant. The food was mediocre with some dishes being inconsistent. The shortbread had a strange taste that I didn't enjoy. I was taken aback when I saw a dog (not a service animal) being allowed into the tea room by the hotel. While this might please some customers, it personally turned me off.

We visited for afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the cakes were delicious (and plentiful), and we felt safe with the Covid-19 safety measures in place. We will definitely be returning in the future.

very strange eating during the pandemic! eating was ok, but dirty, shortbread had a peculiar taste, not nice. I was surprised that the hotel allowed a dog (not a help dog) into the teeroom. I suppose that would encourage some people, but it has set me down.

Wow what a wonderful place with fantastic service. The Sunday roast was out of this world. Our waitress went above and beyond and was so friendly, even took the children outside to show them round the garden. Will definitely be coming back. Reserva una mesa ahora

Gorgeous Afternoon Tea, all the food was excellent and the staff were lovely. The setting is picturesque and we sat outside in the sun and had a very pleasant afternoon. Recommended.

The roast was very tasty, particularly the sirloin beef. Sadly the service was a bit slow as they were so understaffed so we had to ask for drinks again. Recommend though!

Very highly recommend this restaurant. The food was outstanding and service was excellent. The perfect Sunday lunch.
