Fantastic evening at The Gannet for our anniversary. From the get go we were warmly welcomed and looked after. Each course was incredible with high quality ingredients and attention to detail in the presentation and cooking. Seasoning spot on. We had such a great evening and we were gutted once it ended Thank you to Kevin, Connor and team for providing us with a great night and memory. They even gave us a personalised handwritten card to celebrate our anniversary which just goes to show the level of service you will receive here. Unbeatable Can't recommend the place enough. the gannet as a restaurant calms both eye and ear – autumn-liquid color shades of olive green, burned amber and chestnut-brown decorate each surface; leather bound menus, a corrugated iron rod and jazz gently crawl in the background. I will then embark on term, which means that the fantasy of pampering through the window with a large glass of red while the world is looking past must wait.
BOOK NOW. Our favourite restaurant, ANYWHERE. Perfect food, lovingly sourced and beautifully prepared. I HATE sardines but at The Gannet it appears I LOVE sardines. Connor’s wine match is adventurous and utterly sublime, exalting the food. The service impeccable, in a serene and tasteful space. Absolutely wonderful experience and would highly recommend. From the front of house staff members knowledge of their menu and wines to the highly skilled chefs and kitchen staff. So much work and effort into making the most beautiful dishes. All perfect in size and you leave with the biggest, most satisfied smile. Wonderful memories were made here
Excellent dinner. Lamb sweetbreads were excellently cooked, although the dried potatoes were maybe a bit too dry... A daily special of duck was superb, deliciously pink and the heart was perfectly cooked. Good atmosphere, but maybe a bit on the hot side upstairs. Attentive, efficient service.
If you're looking for a proper dining experience and like your seafood this is the restaurant to come to. Every course was excellent, but the little amuse bouche starters, pickled herring dish and mutton and toast were definite highlights. Really sensational stuff! Fully recommended!
a really enjoyable experience that serves the four seasonal tasting. cooking was precise, the combination of ingredients well rated and the amounts exactly right. service is friendly and knowledgeable. try not to eat too much bread, they find it difficult. Reserva una mesa ahora
