The Garden Bar And Restaurant

really lovely restaurant in the Hotel Penzance, on the east side of the town; elevated and set-back so you have great views of the harbour. The food was superb, service very fast and good wine. A really nice restaurant, I will make it a regular spot. One thing, the restaurant is now called 'The Garden Bar and Restaurant ' the name on The Fork is confusing.

The big asset for this restaurant is the fantastic view across the bay a ad to the city. Unfortunately the quality of food is not matching the pleasant location. More attention to presentation and service would be needed to make it a restaurant to visit, apart from being a hotel restaurant.

Staff were friendly and adhered to covid safety measures. Food was good, Highlights were the steak with the cheese and mushroom topping, and the mackerel pate. Pius the pannacotta and the chocolate mouse

Excellent value for money, nice view over the bay and good service. Short menu but solid performers, and vegetarians well catered for. We enjoyed it

Set menu with quite limited choices. Beautiful presentation and good service just slightly disappointed with portions.
