The only redeeming factor of this place, in my opinion, is the cheap drinks. The sound system is pretty bad, making it difficult to hear the music. They have the news on all the TVs, which is not ideal for a pub atmosphere. When we asked to change the channel, we were refused. The bouncers can be rude, but there are a few nice ones. The bar staff have been friendly in my experience. Overall, it was okay, but without the cheap drinks, I don't see a reason to come back here over other places. Plus, it was uncomfortably hot inside.
I always enjoy my visits to The Garrett. James, Pierce, and the rest of the team are truly exceptional. They work together to create a fun atmosphere for everyone, whether you're enjoying a drink alone or with a group. This pub is the type of place where you can go in as a stranger and leave with a few new friends added to your social media contacts. It's not a pretentious bar, but a welcoming and friendly spot to relax and have a good time.
One of the few remaining, nice alternative bars in Manchester, good outdoor area (well shaded for those of us with goth souls), good pool table, and reasonably priced, good selection of drinks. Not much seating inside
I absolutely loved this restaurant! They offer affordable drinks and I especially enjoyed the slushy cocktails. The bartender also gave great recommendations for cool places to check out.

great place, like back to my youth! the same prices as then! only get 4 stars, which was not allowed to turn music. somehow so calm, it was like hearing it on the headphones of another.
This is a fantastic restaurant. The drinks are always superb and generously priced (2 for $5 cocktails). The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is very friendly.
This restaurant offers incredible value with amazing prices, and the drinks are delicious. It is a charming, cozy bar located away from the busy city center.
Doesn't really look like much from the outside, but it's like a tardis inside. Lovely bar staff, great choice of cocktails, overall a great experience.

Brilliant. Turned up late and the guy on the door was amazing. True gent. Cheep beers and cocktails were good too!
