Beautiful pub, one of my favourite in the area. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was absolutely delicious. The crispy squid tasted so fresh and the risotto was amazing. Three course meal for £45ish pp with drinks. We will definitely be back. Had a wonderful lunch with a fantastic atmosphere. The average cost per person is between £10 and £20. The food was top-notch, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. The service was excellent as well, also receiving a perfect score of 5. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also rated a 5. Highly recommend trying the Whitebait and Salt and Pepper Crispy Squid dishes.

Visited the George for the first time today. The food was amazing, I had the chicken curry pie. Wow!!. The place is lovely with excellent staff. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely return. However, the restaurant was full when we arrived and it took about an hour and a half to receive our main meals after ordering. The price per person was £30-40. Will go back and let u know more, but they were closing, and we just managed to persuade the staff to allow us a quick drink b4 they closed. They weren't overly happy, probably tierd, but we were served... back soon! As it looked very cute, cozy and calm! Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
