The George Inn - Reservar una mesa

Came here for Sunday lunch as in Windsor for the day with our dog. Barman warmly welcomed us and our dog and we were looking forward to a nice lunch. Husbands roast came out and the potatoes and veg were raw and hard and not cooked and the meat looked awful. My burger was edible but the fries were not paprika fries. The manager who came over to deal with us returning the food we felt came across very rude with the feedback we provided. The young boy you could tell was inexperienced but he was far more apologetic and made up for the customer service lacking from higher up

Very good location; Unfortunately the rooms are rather disappointing. In the family room above the kitchen, the noise of the ventilation and the kitchen keeps you awake late. In another room, water was dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom in the morning. There wasn't really any service. Rooms: 2 Service: 2 Location: 4

We went to the George for a meal for 8 last night. The food was fantastic, beer exceptional and service was great too. They sell storm stout! My favourite from w&e brewery. Chilled pretty place, slightly pricey but it's smack bang in middle of tourism and can't be cheap in Eton. So really it was worth every penny for a favourite pint. Staff are polite, friendly and more. Service: 5 Location: 5
