The Gingerman Social Eatery

Good draft beer, good hospitality, nice location and generally good food brought us back to the Gingerman for the third or fourth time. The tuna appetizer was excellent and just right to share. Mains were good though there is no doubt that the lobster grilled cheese is just that - no pizazz or any extra frills in presentation so, while it tasted exactly as expected, it was a little disappointing for the price. Overall though it is a perfect place to eat for a casual meal in a pub-restaurant atmosphere.

We came here for the Lobster Grilled cheese as it had been taken off the menu at another restaurant that we like. Sooo.... we were comparing to the other restaurant and we both preferred the other one. I honestly think it was the bread it was served on, seemed like a multigrain. Everything else was good, they had my favourite white wine on the menu and the service was great. Enjoyed the open (garage) doors, cool place- I will go back but not for the LGC.

Live music on Thursday nights creates a fun and inviting atmosphere to draw you in. We were impressed with the variety of food options, the portions and the quality. A small issue was dealt with promptly by our waiter....no questions asked. Will surely go again.......likely to invite friends along as well.

Food is best - burgers are a must try - cocktails are good with a good selection of beers - small patio but great place to hangout if there's space - service a little mix however staff very friendly and accommodating Reserva una mesa ahora

This is one of my favourite restaurants in oakville! Their service is amazing so polite and kind, and the food is delicious! My favourite is the yam fries and the burgers. I love to go when ever the occasion!

Stopped for lunch at the Gingerman Social Eatery. Great service and food to go along with an upscale bar ambiance. Both of us had burgers, which were done really well. Priced right too. Definitely recommend.

Always a great place to stop when the spots in Downtown Oakville are too crowded; nearly always a table free here. Draft beer is exceptional, service is crisp, food is a cut above for a small cafe.
