Has this establishment changed owners. After my visit today I am gobsmacked as to how dirty the ladies toilets and hallway leading to them were . The actual toilets and hand basins were clean , but the skirting boards and walls within the toilets and hallway were very very grubby and stained . I have eaten here quite a few times and enjoyed the food previously. So glad I had not booked today as the attention to cleanliness has clearly changed. Disappointing
We dropped in without a booking. They made us feel welcome, and gave us a table for two. Even though the restaurant was full of reserved tables. The service was above our expectation, and the food was definitely ala-cart, and delicious. I would definitely recommend The Golden Fleece, and I will be going back there again. Great value for money.
Sunday lunch is amazing, but what gives it that extra special edge is the service. The team could not have been nicer , especially to my 91-year-old, very hard of hearing mother-in-law .she absolutely loved the attention and the banter. Thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
