The Grand Howl - Reserva de mesa

I can't praise The Great Howl enough. The owner, Greg, has done an amazing job over the years maintaining the quality of food and delicious home-roasted coffee. It's the best place in Hackney for vegan brunch, and they also offer great vegan bakes and coffee to go. The only downside is that it's quite small and can get very busy on weekends in the late morning, so be sure to arrive early to avoid the crowds!

Had the breakfast sandwich, with scrambled tofu, sausages and tomato chutney between two slices of toasted sourdough, which was great! Rounded it off with an equally good flat oat(ly), and left full and happily caffeinated!

Unpretentious and welcoming vegan and veggie brunch menu. Amazing homemade baked beans. Can't wait to try the pancakes. And the coffee is awesome, Grand Howl is also a roastary

Everything was delicious. The coffee. The food. The deserts. Even the water! Nice comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots of vegan options, including vegan cheese.

The cafe space was lovely, but I felt the atmosphere was not very welcoming and overly hipster. I don't plan on returning.
