The Grandison - Reserva de mesa

Went for Sunday lunch today. Recommended by friends. Really disappointed. We waited over ¾ hour for meals to arrive. I had beef Sunday Roast. I expected the beef to be correctly cooked, i.e. with some pink or red meat. What I was served was cold slices of well-done meat on a barely warm plate. It didn't look like it had been carved in the kitchen, more like pre-packed slices. We were only asked how our food was when collecting the plates. We won't be rushing back.

Went to the Grandison at 5:30 on Saturday, ordered a round of drinks and we were provided with menus. When we went to order not even 5 minutes later we were told they weren't accepting walk ins? Wouldn't mind if the place was full but it was half empty. Disappointing for a pub under new management trying to win back the locals!!!

I had a hard time finding somewhere to book on a Friday night and found this place last minute on Google maps. Staff are so friendly, nice family atmosphere and generally very civilised customers. Food was top quality and the dessert was unforgettable.

First visit since new management. Didn't eat on this occasion but good selection of ale, helpful and friendly staff with reasonable prices. Will be visiting again soon based on this evening. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent. Nice to see them serving a local real ale. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Very nice after one of our regular walks in the area.

The pub was clean. I only had a cappuccino. It was quite busy during lunch time. But the staff was efficient and I didn't have to wait long time to be served.

Lovely pub that you probably would not find unless you knew it was there. Only managed to have a drink as it was full with people eating. Must be a good sign

Stopped in for a coffee on a bike ride. Excellent coffee and lovely surroundings. I'll definitely be back for a meal and a few beers Reserva una mesa ahora

Had a lovely lunch! Salmon with mussels. Great bottle of Rosè too. Speedy service and good coffee. Highly recommend.

Nice rural pub. Good honest food at a reasonable price. Staff are really friendly and attentive.
