The food is amazingly good, I've come in every day this week as I'm new to the area. I've had everything from the starter menu minus the calamari, to the chopped salad with chicken and bacon, the 7oz gammon steak to the ultimate platter double Hunter's chicken. We'll done chef Michael and Danny. Demi-lee has been my server behind the bar and makes a mean cocktail loving them! Would like to give thumbs up to s as well for great service Thank you so much sizzling team for a wonderful experience and welcoming me to town.
I have visited this pub many times, primarily for drinks. This time, I noticed that the menu has been significantly improved, offering many more vegan options. As a vegan, I appreciate this change. The atmosphere is always pleasant, and the staff are friendly. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Called here for some food and a pint, it was a nice place with a separate sports area with tvs and pool, darts. Food was really nice but the sizzling pubs used to serve the food on skillets as I remember ? Just didn't have the same effect on a normal plate. Apart from my little gripe regarding plates all great
only from my celebration of my friends 30th and it was such a good idea to go here! the personal was amazing and very helpful. eating was very good and the place just felt like eating a safer chilled place, chatting and celebrating. to all those who worked tonight, thank you very much!

Good food at good prices for typical pub food. Separate menu for over 60s with a lighter meal for those with a smaller appetite. Only downside is it takes a while for food service but if your not in a rush it's good value for money.
We attended the Sunderland air show today and were truly impressed. The food was great, and the children's menu was outstanding. Our meals arrived quickly, and the staff was very friendly and efficient.
We came yesterday never been since it got done up food was absolutely amazing and our sweet was devine we definatly coming back again staff were really polite

Great pensioners deal. Meal and sweet where fab. Defo going back, cheaper for two to eat than cooking.
