The Green - Reserva de mesa

My husband told me he had booked that morning for us to have Sunday Lunch at The Green for 1pm When we arrived it was very busy and everyone had booked for a Christmas lunch, all the tables were laid with festive decor crackers we were offered a glass of preseco or orange juice. We had a beautiful lunch followed by Guylian Cheesecake for myself Salted Caramel gateau for my husband this was also followed with Mince pies and tea or coffee. There was also some back ground music with a girl singing various songs which was nice. We had lunch at this restaurant today. The waitress told us they were busy, but we still had to wait about an hour to get our food. Another table asked when they would receive their food, prompting the chef (owner) to come out and rudely respond to them. When our food finally arrived, we found a long dark hair among the chips. After showing the waitress and explaining we didn't need a replacement, the chef accused my friend of putting the hair there herself. She tried to explain that none of us had dark hair, but he insisted that the customer is always right, except when they're wrong. There was no apology, just more abuse from the chef. Popped in here today after the rememberance parade for a cuppa ive got to say what amazing staff they have and an outstanding service we received. First time we have been and defo wont be the last. Even had a cheeky slice of chocolate cake which was beautiful. Thank you all even tho u was very busy, u done fab

What a great place, delicious food and attentive friendly staff. I was surprised at how tasty this was as we all know most Christmas works Do's can be, this tasted as if real effort and skill had been used in the creation of this fabulous spread. First of all the Food was amazing, I have had a million Christmas works do type meals and this was by far the best I have had. The staff were helpful and funny and the beer was cold and tasty. A great singer was also there adding to an already great night. Bravo

Hidden Gem, called in for lunch, surprised at the menu choices, took a while to choose! Service and meals were excellent would definitely recommend. Will call again when we're in the are next.

Ideal place for a catch up with friends over breakfast, lunch or just a hot drink and cake. A busy little place, but never too long to wait for a table. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Went today and was refused eggs on toast at 11.45 because it was too late! The menu stated breakfast until 12.00. Very disappointed as the food is always good. Will not be returning! Reserva una mesa ahora
