I had an excellent experience at this local pub! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting you with a smile as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is so inviting that I found it easy to start conversations with other customers at the bar. Even though I came in alone, I quickly ended up chatting with a group of guys, many of whom were locals or from Ireland, all of whom were very friendly. The pub has a delightful old Irish vibe with its wooden decor. Although I only had a beer before heading back out, I regret not staying longer to sample the food.
What a great place! The staff is so friendly and friendly, you will be greeted with a smile as soon as you go through the door. I found that the feeling also spread to other customers, it was very easy to talk to those around me at the bar. I stopped and talked to a bunch of guys in a few minutes. Most live in the neighborhood, some are raised there, others were from Ireland. All were very personal. The pub itself has the wood finish of an old Irish pub, very nice. I didn't stay long enough to taste the food, just a beer and I was on foot again.
I went to the free comedy show at this restaurant on Sunday at 8 PM, and I really enjoyed myself. It was my first time experiencing a comedy night in Boston in over ten years. There were many comedians and plenty of seating available. The vibe was laid-back, making it ideal for enjoying a casual beer. The food appeared good, but it wasn't anything exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place for the comedy night, although the regular bar area seemed a bit quiet when we arrived earlier.

I visited The Green Briar on a Sunday, anticipating some Irish music, but instead, I was treated to a comedy show. The performers were incredibly talented and very amusing. I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the interactions with the audience.
Green Briar will be closing its doors this week, but I truly enjoyed my dining experience there while it was still open. The food, particularly the pretzels, was excellent, and the staff was always friendly. They will be greatly missed!

On Sunday in the Green Pear for some Irish music, and instead I went to a comedy show. And the talent was great and really funny. Had a great time and good interactions with the audience.
