Compliments to the chef for this one.... Second time visiting this place.... First time sat inside for the meal... Incredible.. The staff very friendly and welcoming... STOP! The food.... Cheese gravy chips.... POUTINE PEOPLE... I have never seen it done before in this area of...somerset.... Abroad I have but not here.... So simple yet party in the belly.... Burger.... Great selection .. I went for the Asian inspired Korean burger .... Butter fried chicken !NOT GREACY! Just a bit of heat from the sauce but not enough to melt your eye sockets... Second time visiting this time takeaway !!!! The same as the first time.... HOW DO YOU GET THE SAME STANDARD OF FOOD SAT INSIDE EATING OR SAT IN YOUR...

Found this place randomly after I was craving a decent burger. Being in somerset you don't often get a chef who's willing to be creative with flavours. But here omg this chef knows what there doing! Everything is so perfectly balanced. We are massive chicken...wing fans and these are some of the best around. We really struggle to find a good wing outside of London but we have now finally found one. The burgers are of the scale on taste. We have now claimed this as our new date night location and will be making our way through the menu and then starting again. Will be seeing the staff at the griffin very soon. Food was okay, limited menu (could be due to covid). When we arrived we wasn't greeted so had to ask someone where our table was that we had ordered. When outside the table we had was next to a flying ants nest which were flying...all over us and into our drinks. There was also a very unusual smell so we asked to be seated inside. The smell was okay inside although it was slightly dirty and found a couple of bugs on the table which we had to wipe away, there was also something on the back of a chair which went all down one of the guests dresses leaving a stain. Staff were very friendly just a shame about cleanliness.

I can’t say anything bad about this place in truth. The staff are lovely; Georgii behind the bar will always look after you with a smile, and my god can the kitchen work some magic. I’ve been numerous times and the food is simply perfection....Extreme value for money and **** delicious. Don’t knock the biscoff animal style burger until you try it because it is the best burger I’ve ever had! The poutine is delish and they have a great selection of beers on tap. This restaurant is definitely worth seeking out. They offer an excellent selection of beer and apple wines, and their menu is very popular. If you are a fan of special burgers or chicken wings, this is the place for you. Although we didn't try them ourselves, they looked delicious. The clean plates and positive comments from nearby diners suggested that the food was top-notch. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

what a little gem is this? recommended by a driver/adventure and not disappointed. the Christmas special burger was so juicy and delicious, but the pbk was a real tasty bite for the taste buds! this is a small local pub, but felt very welcome, ordering by the app was easy and the service was great. good selection of wings, I would recommend the hoisin, a lot taste and cooked to perfection. will come back in any case!

Omg what a fab little place! Quirky and dark with the best childhood games that made me almost cry in remembrance! But we know ppl only come for the burgers and wow!! My son had the biscoff one and said was amazing The frickles are...banging The Mac cheese banging The mermaid gin amazing My only grip is back door open and it was freezing cold and we couldn’t order food at bar but other than that I can’t fault

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian and vegan options at this restaurant. There was so much to choose from! The service was excellent, and the bar staff were very friendly, creating a great atmosphere. I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. The beer selection was impressive and the Korean chicken burger was the best I've ever had. My holiday isn't finished yet, and I plan on coming back.
