The Groove Train Chirnside Park

Last night, I placed a dinner order before 7:30 PM and used a delivery service. I was informed that my order would arrive by 8:30 PM. However, at 8:18 PM, I received a text and a phone message from the delivery service stating that my order had been canceled, and that the restaurant would call me directly. When I contacted the restaurant, I was told that the kitchen was closed and all orders had been canceled. They hadn't informed the delivery service to stop the orders, which was very upsetting, especially since it was my first time ordering from this restaurant. Given the high prices, I expected better customer care. Unfortunately, it was too late to place an order with another restaurant....

This is our family go to for the Chirnside/Mooroolbark area. Never had any issues with service or timing but we do only go during the week day around 1-2pm which helps.Staff friendly enough. The chefs aren’t as rushed so the food is always presented well and comes out quite quickly.For a family of 5 it’s definitely not the cheapest place to eat, however there is not too much else around that’s kid friendly other than fast food. It’s a fair price for a more high end restaurant but for a mid tier location and offering prices could be cheaper.Overall a great location to bring the family for breakfast lunch or dinner.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was delightful. As someone with dietary restrictions, I was pleased to find gluten-free options available. I dined in for dinner, and the total cost per person was between A$60 and A$80. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5!

Chance upon this while walking around looking for a dinner place. Interesting South Asian/European fusion, the wood fired pulled pork and apple pizza was loaded with lots of veg with a touch of spiciness. Groove Train consistently offers great meals. I opted for the Parma special, which was huge—definitely enough for two people! It was very delicious. Overall, I would rate the food 5/5, the service 4/5, and the atmosphere 4/5. Highly recommended!

I've dined here a few times for both dinner and breakfast, and I must say, the service is excellent. Adam and his team are very friendly, and the meals are outstanding. It's definitely one of our favorite places!
