The sandwiches from HG are tasty and delicious. However, they are also soggy and hard to handle with hands. The pita bread they use ends up saturated with all the moisture from the ingredients. Other places offer shrak bread, which is thinner but more durable for the fillings that makes a sandwich, roll, etc. However, I could not find that option here.Their chicken sandwich is juicy and well balanced with lettuce and tomatoes. Their white sauce is very delicious but carries a lot of calories at 330 per pack. Their hot sauce is very hot, more a paste made of chillies. We have visited other Halal Guys locations and the food is always good. However, what really impressed us about this particular location was the excellent customer service. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. When we had eaten through the top layer of our meal and run out of sauce, a staff member noticed and offered to bring us more without us having to ask. He even remembered which sauce each of us had chosen and recalled my previous order when I returned for takeout. Additionally, this location carries BBQ sauce, which some other locations do not have. We were very impressed with both the food and the service at this location.
I am a big fan of falafel, but unfortunately, I did not enjoy the falafel at this restaurant. I found it to be quite dirty and it had a taste similar to fried food. The rice and tahini did not enhance the flavor either. Overall, my experience was disappointing and it felt like a poor choice for a meal. While the service was fast and the staff was friendly, I would recommend trying another restaurant in La Grange for better falafel options at a similar price point. It's worth noting that the white sauce is not vegan, despite being told otherwise by a well-meaning employee.

We bought 3 platter of meat and rice combos,we paid $50 .Food was so so bad.Chicken was boiled had no taste of spice's with avery strong smell.lamb was also taste bad in cubes shape it was not jayro .white sauce taste like mix of combination of yogurt and mayonnaise with sweet taste it was not near halal guys taste .don't waste your hard earned money on halal guys we brought food home after taking couple of bite whole 3 platter went to garbage.
The service at the restaurant was friendly. However, the falafel was disappointing. It came with a white sauce that contains eggs and has 330 calories per serving - double what I expected. The sandwich was very dry until I added the baba ghanouj that I had purchased. The pepper and salad on the sandwich were fresh and crisp.
Halal Guys has some pretty good food. This location in particular has really kind staff that provides great service. I had to just write a review to let others know. Thank you to everyone inside!
I would give this restaurant 2 stars because the chicken was good, but the gyro was possibly the worst I have ever had. It was overcooked, dry, and rubbery, definitely not a good choice.

The sandwich I ordered was served cold. I believe they should warm it up, as adding cold salad affected the taste of the chicken or beef. The service was okay when placing my order.
I said no onions. And I think they pit extra onions. I mean bro, it's an easy job.
