We arrived to find a fair bit of renovation work going on, but as we had been here years ago we were not deterred by the construction.This time we ate in the Sports Bar which had more than enough comfortable seats. First was the Pumpkin & Spinach soup. Flavour was pretty good so no complaints.Our main courses were:Chicken Cashew Stir Fry. All I could hear was my wife moaning as she ate this (in a good way!), The sauce in this is to die for!300gram Porterhouse Steak & mushroom sauce with Creamy Garlic Prawns as a side. Having been seated we got up to order our lunch ! A staff member gave our seat to other diners whilst we were waiting to order no problem girl serving us says sit at table 16 ! Fine get our drinks go to go table !!!! That table has just been given to some one else by first staff member ... Lack of communications here ! Bit of chaos as they are doing renovations, will be worth it in the long term Friendly staff , apologetic & embarrased All in all good food . Lamb shanks were nice generous serve .

The Bistro was very crowded and noisy for a Wednesday lunchtime. I realised that this was that from Monday to Wednesday the $13 Seniors' Meals were of three courses instead of just the main course. I found the staff very helpful and intent on giving good service. The food was good and varied and the Bistro was out of earshot of the Pokies / TAB and Sports Bar. The car park is very large here and close to full.

Hubby and I enjoyed our visit here very much.Happy staff & great customer service.Our bruschetta was delicious!Hubby had their version of a mixed grill & really enjoyed it.It came with chips, salsa, guacamole & sour cream.I had garlic prawns served with a side salad & chips.A very good size & very filling.We walked away very happy & full tummies! The seniors meals are just a perfect size for me. A lot of choices to choose from. Always cooked perfect. Love the fish dishes. Salads not so much, just a few leaves which i didn't enjoy,not very many tomatoes and i think the dressing should be on the side. The chips are always crunchy and good.

The meals were good value and the steak was cooked perfectly. In the middle of a renovation which is good because the bistro & toilets are tired looking.
