Popped in to this lovely looking thatched village pub in Charlton Village. The outside was adorned with beautiful hanging baskets and flowers. The outside seating area was very busy as was the inside, which has low beams and is very quaint, so gave a very nice atmosphere. We sat in the restaurant area which was very pleasant. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. We ordered vegetable samosas and traditional chicken curry (medium) with pilau rice and plain Nan bread. The food was piping hot and extremely tasty. It was the only pub in walking distance of our B&B so we had supper there. Looked proper Olde World from the outside. It was pretty much the same inside when it came to the food. We both had a curry. It was just about ok. If anything it seemed like it was pre-cooked, pre-frozen then thawed and finished off in the microwave. Staff were ok, quite attentive without being obsequious. The entrance to the pub would be a challenge for those with mobility disabilities. Awkward steps, with quite a longer than normal drop on the steps.

WOW!!!! Probably the best curry I've ever eaten, a medium curry that was so aromatic rather than over spiced, the service is superb, if you are in the area you must give it a try. Even the perfect pint of Guinness!! Is there anything they can't do???

The first look of the pub was so quirky inviting so we went to have a drink lunch but staff was rude, and food was so so. We Ppl go to pubs to relax and enjoy but the rude staff was enough to spoil our day. Would not recommend Reserva una mesa ahora

A perfect meal on our Wedding Anniversary. Steak, chips and beans for him. Chicken Dhansak and Naan for me. Perfectly cooked, fresh and hot. Plenty of it. Excellent service and reasonably priced. We couldn’t fault it.

The Harrow is an amazing pub, fantastic food and a really welcoming place. In particular the curries were amazing, so good we’re going to have it 2 nights in a row.

Surly staff and lack of vegan and vegetarian options let down this pretty pub. It really needs a menu overhaul and friendlier staff.

We had a lamb curry and it was so good we had a meal a long time ago and the food quality has not changed will be going back soon
