We recently experienced the high tea at this establishment and were extremely impressed. Priced at $60 per person on weekdays, the high tea offerings here are definitely worth the cost. Our meal began with two varieties of scones and a glass of champagne, which were both quite generous in portion size. Following the scones, we were served a delightful selection of five savory dishes that were absolutely delicious, especially the ham hock with pineapple and the bacon and chorizo toastie. Beautifully decorated interior, awesome array of gourmet cakes and pastry and interesting, tasty brunch and lunch menu. We had the Benedict adventure and the sweet potato corn fritters. Both were full of flavour and the fritters were a huge serving. Coffee is ok but not amazing. We got a takeaway of a small selection of donuts, death by chocolate cake and almond croissant and all were very nice, except I expected much more frangipane almond filling in the croissant (however the texture of the croissant itself was very good). It's always a great time at The Hatter and The Hare! This venue is just gorgeous, beautiful inside and out. On a warm day, I like to sit in the courtyard :  <br/ <br/ I have been here multiple times for brunch, and once for a special dinner event. The food is always top notch, and there are plenty of vegan options. <br/ <br/ They have an IMPRESSIVE array of desserts, including a couple of vegan sweets too. <br/ <br/ The staff always seem to be friendly too, which makes the vibe even better. <br/ <br/ I would definitely recommend this café, worth the travel if you don't live close ;

4.5 stars. This restaurant is perfect for groups, but be sure to call ahead to make a reservation. The weekends are very busy. I tried their Celebration platter and while it's not the best value for kids, I would recommend getting the kid's meal with burgers and chips instead. The burgers are juicy and the crinkle-cut chips are delicious. I would definitely return for the great atmosphere and wide variety of desserts. Absolutely fantastic. The food is scrumptious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Can't find a single fault with this place. The menu is Alice in Wonderland themed, offering a wide range of options with interesting flavor combinations. The coffee selection is impressive, and the hot chocolate from Mork is always delightful. And let's not forget about the amazing cakes! Highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning many times.

The coffee is great, and the complimenting variety of desserts are amazing. I recommend getting the small fruit-flavoured cheesecakes such as raspberry or passionfruit. They aren't too sweet and are perfectly creamy. They also incorporate the fruit flavours really well and it does not taste even a tad artificial. The donuts I tried were great as well. You really cannot go wrong with any dessert items here.

My favourite local cafe! Love love love the desserts/ pastries here : we tried the 'British dinner journeys ' aswell and it was absolutely amazing! Found this hidden treasure in the industrial district of Bayswater. Awesome and creative food and great atmosphere, and will definitely be back again soon to try out the other dishes.Limited parking space outside the venue, would suggest to park across the road in the hotel public parking lot. the service and food is nice but our butterfly latte come with a hair on top and the plate also a little be dirty. The cake is nice and really good please for function.
