Great Value, friendly family run pub Rooms: Family room was clean, tidy spacious room. comfortable bed. Bathroom was very clean and good shower. Toiletries supplied. Food drinks: Very friendly bar, reasonably priced good beer. Supper was good, decent quality and well cooked. Service very good, attentive and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and nice produce well cooked. Noteworthy details: Warm welcome, nothing too much trouble. Basic but very clean comfortable accommodation. Excellent value. A country pub with a lot to offer. Our room was very comfortable. The evening meals are reasonably priced and there is a good menu plus specials. The freshly cooked breakfast superb and no expense spared with everything catered for except black pudding and maybe porridge, I think. The landlord and staff brilliant. Good range of tasty homemade vegan options and great value. Vegan moussaka was on the specials board with vegan lasagne, vegan mushroom stroganoff, vegan chicken burger and a vegan burger on the regular menu. A beer festival was on too! Updated from previous review on 2023-04-09

I had the vegan lasagne and it was very good, the portion size was same as the meat version so I didn't feel I was losing out as is the case sonetimes. Asked for vegan dessert options and chose the apple and caramel slice with vegan ice cream. I would definitely eat here again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Nice, inexpensive stopover for trip to Cornwall. Room nice and clean. Nice pub meal at night and a small but adequate breakfast. Massive car park at back. Staff friendly. Would stay again Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
