After a long day this was our go to, although we were disappointed as it took 1 hour and 10 mins to get our food. The restaurant was cold in temperature , like freezing cold, it was extremely uncomfortable and most other customers ate with sweaters and jackets on. I was so cold at one point I put my arms in my shirt sleeves and then finally covered up with the cloth napkins as I never had a jacket with me. When we told the waitress she didn’t truly care and did nothing to fix it. Food was ok but not great. We came with some friends to have the burger of the month. It was a nice burger, the cheese wasn't melted and the patty a bit overcooked for my liking. We also got charged extra for the side of ceasar salad, without being made aware of the cost beforehand. But the part that made me write this review is our daughters meal, the Tuna Poke bowl. The tuna and greens were great but on the bottom were noodles with edamame. The beans had gone bad and also changed the flavor of the noodles, obviously because they were on the bottom of the dish, she didn't taste it until half way through. Was there for the first time.. and have to say it was really good experience with delicious food, a wide beer selection and welcoming staff. The Hied Out offers a delightful dining experience! Nice place for a meal and generally more upscale from the other breweries in cranbrook. 3 stars on service as twice now they have been closing or are closed when then hours online say open. My husband and I are here from out of town looking at some property. We were huge fans of the menu, ambience of the store and had a wonderful waiter named Craig. Good service is hard to find these days and he made us enjoy our first meal in Cranbrook,
