I loved our first visit to the Eremit after its reopening—it's a place we've wanted to try for years! It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the beautiful view, and indulge in excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They offer a selection of well-kept real ales, and the menu features a great variety of deliciously prepared dishes. We had a Korean chicken burger and a properly cooked pizza, accompanied by chorizo in a magnificent sauce and some fantastic homemade slaw. the best pub in the menston burley area! fantastic real ales on tap and a decent menu to go. pizzas are the best around also make them a nice simple lunch menu. george is the captain who leads the restaurant in front of the house and bar, but the rest of the staff is fantastic to a magnificent view over wharfedale from the decking and urinal (they will see what I mean when they visit)
Always loved this pub, now it is even better. A great venue now with its fantastic views improved by the new owners investing in great outside seating. Staff are perfect, knowledgeable, friendly and profession. Great beers and food. Do visit, you will return.
Called in with my nephew who was desperate for some food. We were given a warm and engaging greeting by the two staff on hand in the bar. Food was delivered with a smile and good banter. Great views, great beer and charming service. Who can ask for more.

During our visit, we passed by the Yorkshire Way walk and decided to stop for a meal. We enjoyed some pizza and a few drinks in the lovely outdoor seating area, which was fantastic. My partner particularly liked the Yorkshire Heritage Way beer!

This is an excellent pub with fantastic food and very nice beer. I've never had a bad pint or meal here! Lunchtimes are especially enjoyable. I highly recommend this pub. Just a note: it's family-friendly!
The service was excellent, and the food was good. There were plenty of available seats. The wine selection was impressive, and it’s also a family-friendly place.
