The Hide Steakhouse

We stopped by for lunch and drinks at noon on a Thursday before our train. We shared a cheese and ham toasted sandwich, a beef baguette, fries, and sweet potato fries. The food was fresh and delicious. We spent under £35 for two main dishes, two sides, and two drinks. The pub was bustling for a Thursday lunchtime, and the service was very friendly. Fitzwilliam station is just a 10-minute walk away, making it an ideal spot for dinner or drinks while waiting for your train. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went here yesterday and was very disappointed, only had sirloin steak no other steak on the menu, pub was very dated and food very under par, no disabled facilities, man shouting out his drug test came back clean so could see his kids, food at other side the same but cheaper, had to walk through to other pub for toilets, wouldn't recommend or return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50

Absolutely fantastic Sunday dinners here! We opted for the turkey dinner, and it did not disappoint—truly authentic home-cooked flavors. This was definitely one of the best meals we've had in a long time! Had 2 steaks one rump and a sirloin cooked very well and rested nicely. Very tender if not slightly on the rare side but nothing wrong with that it was delicious Dietary restrictions: Happy to cater to all. Fantastic staff and customer service. Plenty of parking. I believe expensive on looking at other similar offers. That said would recommend as food is good quality.

After waiting 50 mins for our Sunday dinner, it was only aired. Good food ,good variety, but a cold roast not good.
