Our stay at Homestead was absolutely perfect. Michelle is an incredible host. She was generous and kind and did everything to make our stay so wonderful. The house is immaculately clean, I mean immaculate, something that is very important to me. The food was incredibly delicious and lazy. The house is a beautiful home that should be on the register of historic places. And then there is the animal sanctuary itself. We need to meet such wonderful, loving animals that are now in a safe space and receive the love and all the care they need. This is a vegan and animal lover paradise, as well as a beautiful place to stay for people who enjoy a clean, incredibly well-equipped historic home. Updated by previous review on 2022-05-26
We love to stay in The Homestead, which we rented in the Rambo room and in the Samson Suite we even rented the entire Homestead for when we married and hosted our wedding reception inside. The decor is perfect and welcoming. Breakfast in the AM is always plentiful and delicious Alex has fed us well! We had waffles on day one and French toast day two! Coffee is delicious and all fixations galore! Comfortable, friendly and clean it hums! The day goes to go the terrain is awesome and is as we started every day!
We absolutely love The Homestead! It has become one of our favorite places. Erica, the manager, is warm and friendly and makes you fee like family. If you are looking for a vegan B&B in this area, it is perfect. Clean, friendly, great vegan breakfast, and you can bring your dog!! If you are not familiar with the Catskill Animal Sanctuary, you are in for a huge treat! It has become our Happy Place!! Check out their web site!
